Elder Selection:

Rock Bridge is guided and guarded through our Elders. This group meets regularly for prayer, discernment, and decision-making. They oversee the budget, the pastoral staff, and the overall vision of our church. Additionally, they are involved in pastoral care, small groups, and prayer. They work to keep the church aligned to the Scriptures, to protect the church's unity, and to advance the mission of God through Rock Bridge.

If you would like to nominate someone for the role of elder, please consider the following:

• To the best of your knowledge, do they meet the qualifications of Titus 1:5-9 and I Timothy 3:1-11?
• Have they been a member for at least one year?
• Are they actively serving in a ministry?

If so, please email their name to Allyson Coker (allyson@rockbridge.cc) as well as the name of the campus they attend with your reasons for nominating them.

The names of all elder nominees will be confidentially screened by an Elder Selection Team before being officially announced. This confidential screening includes a background check, reference checks, giving and tithing records, personal interviews, and much prayer.
